Switzerland’s referendum system sounds fantastic

Re: Switzerland rejects highest minimum wage

Reading the above article I was mostly fascinated by the fact that on one day the country goes to the polls to vote on multiple referendums.

As a believer in direct democracy I’d love to see something similar in the UK.
